About the role

In this role, you will leverage data to unlock insights that drive innovation in real estate technology. As a Real Estate Data Scientist, you’ll work with large datasets, design advanced predictive models, and help build solutions that shape the future of real estate marketing and property analytics. Your ability to transform raw data into actionable strategies will be key to empowering agents, brokers, and developers in making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build predictive models and algorithms to optimize real estate marketing strategies.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement machine learning models into production systems.
  • Develop dashboards and data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to support product development and market strategy.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in data science techniques, particularly for real estate applications.

In the short term, you will:

As a Real Estate Data Scientist, you’ll quickly contribute to high-impact projects, including:

  • Gaining a deep understanding of our data ecosystem and real estate datasets.
  • Designing and deploying initial machine learning models to enhance property analytics.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities in real estate data.
  • Supporting the development of metrics and KPIs to measure the success of predictive models.

What you bring to the table:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, preferably with a focus on real estate or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques (regression, clustering, decision trees, etc.).
  • Experience with SQL and big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) for handling large datasets.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business strategies.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and available during US hours.
